EasyLan is a platform to help you master your local network.

It is composed of ELAN agents, typically one per site and the ELAN center that aggregates data from the agents and centralizes configuration.

While using existing infrastructure (switches, dhcp, dns servers, user databases usch as LDAP, Active Directory, Gsuite, …) it adds the following features:

• Full visibility on your network: as soon a device connects to the network it will be reported. It will give you a full inventory of every device (Mac) on your network.
• Access Control:
  • Captive portal to authenticate you users.
  • Guest Access to allow your guests on the network while restricting the resources they can access. Sponsored guest access allows you to delegate guest authorization to your users.
  • RADIUS (802.1X)
  • VLAN segmentation
• Intrusion Detection System
• Configurable log of every IP connection on a per device basis.

ELAN Agents

ELAN Agents are open source so you know exctly what it does. They are deployed inline and offer all the edge features to ensure visibility on your network and security by taking advantage of the capabilities of the switches.

Agents can be used standalone without the ELAN Center.

ELAN Center

ELAN Center is an intuituve web interface to configure and aggregate all data received by ELAN Agents:

• Define access rules based on device tags, authentication source (AD, LDAP, Gsuite, …) and type (802.1X, Captive portal, Guest Access, …).

• View and search all devices:

• Per device history of detected IPs, hostnames, fingerprints, connections.

• Configure VLANs

• View, tag and manage devices.

• Configure authentications sources and types.

• Per client delegated Administration.
